Canteen Shift Supervisor

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Canteen Supervisor to join our team. This role offers regular shifts across Thursday and Friday evenings, as well as Saturday and Sunday, making it ideal for someone looking for consistent weekend work.

As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the canteen, ensuring efficient service and a positive customer experience. You will work both independently and as part of a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and serving a range of food and beverages, including coffee
• Operating grill and deep fryer equipment safely and efficiently
• Serving cold drinks, snacks, and light meals
• Handling transactions using a POS system and managing cash accurately
• Opening and closing the canteen, including basic cleaning and stock checks
• Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Providing friendly and professional customer service

About You:

• Previous hospitality or food service experience preferred
• Confident handling food preparation equipment (training can be provided)
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
• Strong customer service skills

Requirements:

• RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate, or willingness to obtain
• ABN holder (or willing to register as a contractor)
• Availability for the listed shifts
