Collegiate Soccer League Division 7.

Mount Barker United Division 7 put on a dominant display in Round 10, defeating Eastern United 6-1 away from home—thanks to stunning hat-tricks from Scott Bonner and debutant striker Stefano Morales.

Despite missing their captain, vice-captain, and several key players, Mount Barker showed early promise. But it was Eastern United who struck first, capitalising on an early counterattack. That only sparked United into life.

Stand-in captain Scott Bonner led by example, curling in a superb equaliser from outside the box. Soon after, Stefano Morales, coming off the bench, won a penalty and calmly converted to put the visitors ahead. Just before halftime, Bonner added his second with a composed finish following a defensive error, making it 3-1 at the break.

The second half saw both scorers continue their assault. Bonner played a perfect through ball for Morales to round the keeper and slot home his second. Moments later, Bonner completed his hat-trick with another curling strike from distance.

The duo weren’t done. In the dying minutes, a slick passing move saw Morales seal his own hat-trick with a low finish, capping a clinical team performance.

Both forwards walked away with match balls in a game that highlighted their class and composure in front of goal.

Congratulations to them both!
